What happens when..

This is exactly what happens whenever I try to take a picture of this Kingfisher.He would be usually sitting still in this distant pole,serene and calm and probably enjoying his time.Not even a side glance at anything around..But the minute I take my camera out, he turns his head and gives a quick look and takes off.. 


I am still puzzled how he did notice me in all that split second time.Not so photo friendly,eh,Kingfisher?
