Up..above the world

Had I been a poet, I would fill up scrolls and scrolls just about the clouds and the sky.It is a constant wonder to me how I feel at peace the moment I see the fluffy moving clouds. It just so happens within an instant look at them. Sadly I am no poet to write about how they make me feel. But at the least I have my camera ready at times when I want to cherish forever the magic the clouds perform.

The pictures here were taken one weekend last month;it had just rained the previous day and it was also predicted to rain that day. I like these occasional wet days and the clouds were so soothing to look at.
I also spotted a plane making one of its daily trips. I had to zoom well to capture it.
And then I saw these three flying by.Based on the long neck, I guess they are storks or cranes..
I so want to find out the name of these birds. Are they from this place making a trip to find food? Or are they migratory birds making trips across continents? I will never know until I find out the name of these birds and that is proving really to be a very hard task
By evening the clouds loomed and soon set up the scenery for a rainy evening. We could literally see the heavy clouds slowly coming towards us
A short while after, this glorious rainbow appeared.Initially we could only see half of it
Moments later the whole arch of the rainbow was visible to the keen eyes
And then it started raining.Unless it is a heavy downpour, we do not mind getting drenched. It was only a mild rain that day,so we made sure to have a nice drench .. only after I safely tucked my camera aside :).
